<p>I made my the last period and I go home early if I don’t have anything after school, and if I will be staying after school I go to the library and do homework because a round trip to my house and then back to school is 30 minutes.</p>
<p>I usually use my frees to listen to music and get some hw done.</p>

<p>I would use my free period to tutor or use it as a study hall. Even though my school isn’t an academic heaven (~60% proficiency on state tests), the teachers are pretty demanding. I personally love to tutor, so I would take 1.5 hours to do that.</p>

<p>If I got a free period I would most likely sleep…or play around on my phone and if I really really had to I’d do my homework.</p>
<p>I know not all schools do this but at some schools you can take a class pass/fail so you can take a class that isn’t ap or higher level but you are passionate about and it won’t affect your gpa.</p>
