What would you rate yourself?

For looks probably 6.5
For maturness honestly 9 (( and iam not showing off :stuck_out_tongue: ))

Posting ratings of your physical attractiveness seems fairly juvenile, no?

All the European exchange students at my school are really weird

And apparently there is in fact a connection between intelligence and beauty (the smarter, the hotter).

A 6/10 for looks? Not many girls notice me though lol.

An 8/10 for intellectuality :)

I donā€™t knowā€¦ Sounds like something social outcast ā€œgeniusesā€ tell themselves at night. Is there any source here?

@wolverine: In my experience, itā€™s intelligence * attractiveness = some constant, and as intelligence goes up, attractiveness goes down. Inverse relationship. Lol

Although, Dawkins argues that humanity has evolved to become overall more attractive and intelligent through the ages, so yes, I do believe they have a tendency to converge.

Iā€™ve heard there have actually been studies, and the more attractive people are smart. From my own experience, I think this is the case. Whoā€™s prettier: Jessica Simpson or Natalie Portman? Iā€™d say Natalie Portman, no doubt. Think about the uneducated people you knowā€¦are they very attractive?

You have heardā€¦ that there have been ā€œstudies.ā€ Howā€¦ scientific.

 1. Subjective. 2. One example does not a study make.

I know attractive people who are both rather smart and not, in my opinion. I also know unattractive people who are both rather smart and not, in my opinion.

^^ Actually, in my school, yes.

Although there are several intelligent kids who are attractive too.

Okay, please donā€™t hesitate to dispute every single thing I say.

Paris Hilton or Amanda Peet?

Well, when you make disagreeable comments based on some ā€œstudiesā€ you have heard about, donā€™t expect total belief.

Celebrity examples do not make a study. Come on.

Well actually, I think Portmanā€™s much more attractive too. But thatā€™s another story.

On a side note, did anyone know that Lady Gaga and Childish Gambino both went to NYU?

Thatā€™s not fair. When I see Hiltonā€™s face Iā€™m already biased because it screams stupid.

I only knew of the existence of one of them, so no, not likely.

Lindsay Lohan or Kate Middleton?

I figured that Childish Gambino was a bad example. Iā€™m listening to too much of his music, lol -_- (Heā€™s the guy from Community, if by any minute chance you were wondering) But yeah, I was taken back when I saw that Lady Gaga went to NYU. Mind you, for Tisch, but still.

What is this, a whoā€™s hotter thread?

Again, see Hilton, but for Lohan this time.

Ya just proved my point Tenors. Stupidity itself does not help make a person attractive.

But thatā€™s because when I see their faces, I associate them with the outrageous things theyā€™ve done that the media covers 24/7. No one in the world can look at Lohan without eventually thinking about her lifestyle. Same with Hilton. This doesnā€™t apply nearly as much to people in my school though.

Also, for some reason every time I see Kate Middleton I think ā€œgold diggerā€. I really, really do not know why.

Wolverine, I think youā€™ve caught the stupid.

Nor does intelligence. Mental faculties and physical attractiveness are based on separate criteria. No one here is claiming stupid people are more attractive, youā€™re just saying theyā€™re less physically attractive, citing imaginary ā€œstudiesā€ and a few celebrity examples.

Okay, letā€™s un-derail this topic, shall we?

On a scale of 1-10, where

For men, 1 = Gilbert Gottfried and 10 = Jesus Luz (Maddonaā€™s recent ex)

For women, 1 = Rosie Oā€™Donnell and 10 = Kate Beckinsale

Where does CC rank?
