Crunch time is really coming with admissions decisions only 18 days away. So I thought it might be interesting to have a little fun. A lot of you seem really passionate about attending Harvard, so I was wondering, how bad do you want it? What would you sacrifice for Harvard?

It can be anything from your right leg to your mother (if you so desire).

So I'll go first, I would sacrifice my summer European trip to attend Harvard.

Really would not sacrifice anything tangible or most intangible...either they wise up and take me....OR NOT! But in this case......welll....umm....sacrifice my time and money...if they gave crappy aid i would still probably go.

hmm no wonder their advertising. i would give up, well whatever they ask for. i guess that means time, money etc. but by going to harvard id gain so much more, even the requirments like advance courses etc. push us. i want to go to harvard pretty bad, but i wouldnt give up my mother.

i guess if you want a fun answer it would be my pc. i have really nice one i built from scratch by myself, but i guess i would be willing to give it up for the big H.

hey speaking of which, would computer building be something to add to a app? im guessing no, but its one of my hobbies.

I can't see how it would hurt you either, really. I'd put it.

Great, then i'm putting it down too. Nah, jk lol. I have it on my activity sheet that i gave my rec writers, but seriously, its not a real EC. just a hobby.

such a clever take on the admissions process. i can totally relate to what she said. the college admission process really does do strange things to normal students...
