What would you say is special about JHU?

<p>Hey there,</p>

<p>This is a part of an effort to help me(and other applicants) write their essay.</p>

<p>As you all probably know, every university (or most) is known for something. For example: Duke is known for its friendly, warm environment (not cut throat).
UChicago is known for its rigor and weird funny people/slogans.
etc.</p>

<p>However, I haven't been able to find something like that for JHU. What would you say is one of the key characteristics of Johns Hopkins?</p>

<p>Koreans everywhere. It’s like studying abroad in Korea. I’m learning the language just from overhearing conversations.</p>
