<p>I always wondered about that since I know SO MANY high schoolers born in the same year as me (1992) when I’m already in my second year. They always say they weren’t held back, but I could never figure out how that worked otherwise.</p>

<p>Cut off dates are weird. It’s December around here…and I was born at the very end of October, so I could have gone either year, and I went when I was older rather than younger. I have a bunch of friends who graduated a year before me but are a month or two younger than me…and I have a bunch of friends in my class who are an entire year younger than I am!</p>
