What was up with it? It was so hard!!! Or was it just me?

i took the calculus AB late today.

IT WAS BLOOODY HARD MAN. LIKE SEIROUSLY SO HARD.

i'm really praying for a 4 and i'm really happy.

I didnt get the Taylor series one, did you?
But overall, I think I did well, I had trouble with Part A of Section I, Part B of Section I - I had some time left over.

But I self-studied.

Yeah, it was really, really tough.

Here's how I did on Calc BC.

MC:
I: 14/28
II: 16/17
Subtotal: 30/45 *1.2 = 36/54

FR
1: 5/10
2: 2.5/10
3: 5/10
4: 10/10
5: 10/10
6: 0/10
Subtotal: 32.5/50

Total: 36 + 32.5 = 68.5

Though that's not a lower estimate. ~65 is the benchmark for a 5.
I probably got a 4, and I ended up not getting any credit in my major. :[

Yeah, it was HARD. I did much better with my calculator, but I was
really surprised at the consistent depth of questions. Everything MC
felt like it required at least 3 steps.

Edit: My lower bound estimate is 59 raw. Could that still potentially count as a 5?

The lowest I've ever seen for a 5 was a 64 so I doubt a 59 would cut it.

I think I got a 1.

I thought it was MISERABLE! I don't know what that test even was...honestly, the night before the AP I locked myself in my room and did about 5 free response sections for practice, including the 2007 regular and 2007 form B, and that test was way harder than those.

I guess I can at least hope that everyone else thought it was more difficult as well? Maybe not, but I'm fairly sure it was. I wonder if that's intentional?

My daughter said she bombed it. She was sick with pneumonia when the first exam was scheduled, so she had to take the late test. Because she successfully completed 1st semester calculus at U-Conn last summer (end of her junior year in high school), she decided to self-study BC and take the exam with the idea of getting AP credit for second semester calculus. She told me that there was no way she passed the BC exam -- couldn't even answer some of the free response questions. Oh well, nothing lost except the $83 for the exam fee.

For the normal test, the MC was really easy, and the FRQs were harder than other years, i thought, especially the 1st two questions.

lol...i only took AB Calculus and then I took AB & BC heh...

i think the test was ok...not toooo bad........the MC were fine......especiallhy the section with calculator.....and there were some hard questions in the FR portion......but the first 2 questions were pretty easy.......(I hope I didn't get them wrong)..
