turns out he's checking out Yale. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=133440

hahaha what a fool. it's always about engineering.

i haven't seen that fob here in a long time

He already posted in here that other ivy forums say that cornell is better for engineering.... That thread you linked to is quite old

what an idiot.

he first got accepted to cornell early decision and cambridge early action(?). Even though he obligated to attend cornell, he was asking us which school he should attend.

after we made it quite clear to him that he has to attend cornell, he started bragging and even sometimes exaggurating about Cornell engineering's prestige and rankings...for weeks.

Now, he's asking about yale?!

"if u have an electraical engn from Yale and One from Cornell....
Which one would IBM choose...
Does Yale's NAME make up ofr its poor engn program"

and he still can't type...

god, i hope he withdraws from cornell.
we should do a petition on this board to urge him to withdraw.

that's a bit harsh....

He speaks english pretty well if u ask me. I mean how well can you speak hindi?

Umm, wasn't he the one constantly bashing Yale in that thread about Cornell's prestige?
Saying it was a school where "if ur dady is rich u can get thru" and he hates Yale?

AASSDDFF,

i said he can't type.
actually, to be more precise, he refuses to type grammatically correct sentences.

"He speaks english pretty well if u ask me. I mean how well can you speak hindi?"

no.. indians in india learn english as a second language.. since he applied to an american school he definately went to a prep school/private school in india.. therefore, all his studies would be in the english medium.

ASP might be intelligent (he did get accepted at Cornell and Cambridge so...), but he certainly doesn't seem mature to me. I reckon he just doesn't have enough life experience.

"no.. indians in india learn english as a second language.." Not anymore, unless u go to some cheap public school. (and in India, u only go to public schools if you're below the INDIAN poverty line - and if u are, my sympathies) In fact even many public schools are english-medium. And everyone I know can speak english pretty well. It may sound wierd to you because, well, there's a slight accent to it (NOT APU STYLE, of course - that's just insane)
1) i agree ASP's fickle and immature.
2) ASP's probably not here coz he's got his exams right now.

He's been through enough (though he's also put us through enough). But just give the guy a break. He'll change.

anybody miss me ? :D

Well... how many of us are going to college in India?

No, Ravin. That green smiley face that you abuse is creepy.

ASP...I miss him making a fool of himself and bringing laughter into my life, at his expense.

Don't we all . . .
