Whatever I get..I DO NOT want to be waitlisted?

Seriously, what’s worse than being deferred, and then waitlisted? At this point, anything would be better than a waitlist.

Yay, waitlisting! I'm for it.

lol i wouldnt mind a waitlist over a rejection!

i would be so p***ed if i got deferred and then waitlisted

i wouldn't mind a waitlist. i'd be rather proud of that, actually, because it'd be an acknowledgement of my existance in any case.

Tough choice. I have a friend who was waitlisted and never took off the list, however not even notified to register elsewhere, so she almost missed the NYU deadline waiting for a chance at Stanford.

Isn't it implied that you should hold your place at another university since waitlists aren't exactly promises? I mean, if you get off, wonderful, and you just lose the deposit to the other place. But it's not like they stop you from sending in a deposit to NYU or something... right?

i was just waitlisted at harvard yale penn and brown today, wow it seems like a never ending wait, was deferred from princeton ed, had to wait 3 more months for RD and now i have to wait for the waitlist. So im hoping for a positive decision from either princeton or stanford tomorow.
anybody else get placed on alot of waitlists?

how do you increase your chances to get off of the waitlist? what do you even have to do?

I got placed on Upenn, NU, Dartmouth, and JHU waitlists.

ugh! i'm so sorry quiz quick. i had similar news. i am really really hoping that none of it is any indication of what stanford has to say

does anyone know when people find out from stanford if they are waitlisted on their final acceptance/rejection?

I assume it'd be after May 1st.
