<p>so I heard about being able to trade dorms with other people during a certain period. When does this happen?</p>
<p>and anyone wanna trade with me? I got sunset village. it's a plaza and it's awesome =D you know, it's more spacious, less noisy, and air conditioned :DDD</p>

<p>I'm male. I'm looking for a res hall. Hedrick hall sounds good but I'd prefer Dykstra/Sproul since I heard Hedrick hall is a far walk, but if no one is willing to trade then I'll trade with you =D</p>

<p>apparently the period for trading is called "open transfer period" (stated in the housing thread) but can someone please tell me when this happens?</p>
<p>best bet is go on ask housing thing, I used it quite a few times and it works wonders, ask politely and they answer by the next day... don't worry about placed onto floors as the only freshman since every floor has freshmen (at least I haven't heard of anywhere that doesn't especially in a res hall)</p>
<p>well apparently, you can request room swaps that will be accommodated from oct 2nd to 9th</p>

<p>anyone still interested in swapping with me? I think sunset village is great but I don't want to spend the extra money on housing (I already have to take out lots of loans -_-)</p>
