Oh, and if I don't get in, I'm thinking of applying to the following schools, and I'm wondering how they match up with me:
Cornell (legacy)
Brown (legacy)
MIT
UCB
UCLA
UCSD
Duke
Rice
Stanford
Swarthmore

Oh, also 13 years of Piano..

you are gonna get in U Penn....
Brown and Cornell-good shot, but you know how the ivies are...
MIT-unless you have significant math related or science related activities like AMC test or some huge resarch project, i have no idea...
UCB, UCLA, UCSD, - you're in
Duke- good shot
Rice-god shot
Stanford- good shot, but Stanford is ultra selective
Swarthmore-good shot oce again..

Stop making other people feel inferior on this board. You know you're going to get in at UPenn. The only schools where you MIGHT not get again are Duke, Stanford, MIT, and Swarthmore. Duke favors old money from the South (no joke) while Stanford and MIT are very tough. Swarthmore from what I've heard seems to be odd in their selection process compared to other schools. The other schools are likelys for you, even the Ivy League ones. Congratulations on the stellar SAT score! Were you surprised or did you think you were going to that well?

Oh yeah, write a really really good Why Penn? Essay. Penn has gotten tired of being the Ivy League backup for people who don't get into HYP.

I'm sorry if I offended you, but that wasn't my intention at all. I really have no idea how I stack up to other people, and since I go to a private school, I don't know how comparable grades are to other places... So I wanted to see what other people thought about my chances

About my SAT, I was pleasantly surprised! I thought I would get in the 2200s..

About the AMC, I scored somewhere in the 110s in the last AMC 10, but not much other than that.. I have a huge initiative problem, I never get anything done unless someone asks me, hence the low number of individual projects, etc.. hopefully colleges won't look at that as too bad of a problem :(

Relax. I was only being sarcastic. My earlier commment in the post was meant as no criticism. You're statistics are great.

dang. you have same stats as me except better.. in EVERYTHING -_-.
sat me was 800/700/730, and im also taking AP music/orchestra(violin 13yrs) and such.

ur crazy.
you outstrip all of us by a long shot. aim for HYP.

You have a great shot. Also, Penn has EA instead of ED.

no... penn has ed...

yea, the only two Ivies that have EA is Harvard and Yale. Penn definately only has ED.

Opps...my bad. >_<
