I know it's hard w/o the SAT scores, but can you all give me an idea? I'd apply ED as Dartmouth is my dream school if I didn't want to wait until the end of XC season (hopefully I'll be able to add some cool accomplishments like county champ or a top finish at state!)

Edit: Regional Jazz Band, /not/ Regional All-State - ha

ECs sound strong. Good athletics compensate for a lack of major awards. However, they're not the best, there are people with more impressive ECs. If your immaculate grades are any indication of your SAT, I think you have a great shot.

If your SAT's correllate with your grades/EC's you'd probably fit in quite well as a '10. Remember though, at this level of collegiate admissions, there are ABSOLUTELY no guarantees unless you've basically cured cancer, are a double legacy, olympian, Intel competition winner. If you can get your SAT sections above 700's, you'll be in good shape. Above 750's, very good shape.

Thanks guys. I hope I do well on the SATs. I did not do as well on the PSATS as I would have liked, but I think I'm a lot better prepared now than I was then...

Any opinions on applying ED?

No one can tell your chance without SATs.

SAT scores are important, but I was looking for opinions on how the other areas of my application are shaping up. I took the SATs yesterday and think I did quite well. We'll see...
