What's a bluebook?

....used in what context?

On this board, the bluebook is a lot of times referring to the CollegeBoard SAT prep book. However, this wouldn't explain why you are posting this in the UMich forums...

maybe youre talking about the blue books which we write our essays in for AP tests and the like, either way, why do you always seem to be so lost for someone who got into Michigan? isnt there an easier way to find the answer to that "question" than posting on cc?

They're the books the university sells in the bookstore in the Union. You use them on exams that require multiple essays.

adidas, if you don't know what blue books are, you're also lost. stop hating on azurek.

anyways, a lot of classes require students to bring their own blue books to class for exams. bige21 basically covered it.

First of all, yes I was referring to the blue books that are "to be returned before exams for classes". Second, I see no reason why you're being obnoxious about it. What's your point when you say that I "always" seem lost for someone who got into Michigan. Even people who get into Ivies ask questions like the ones I do. I think that one of the main purposes of this forum is to give advice/help out student with questions.

I hate the thought of having to buy those things. Darn school will do anything to make money off of us.

sorry guys, i guess im probably just jealous that youre already in Michigan and i still dont know if ill get in, and i have this image of michigan kids being all knowing, so when they ask a question it confuses me (lol jk).... anyways bluebooks=testing of some kind, testing of some kind = BAD, therefore bluebooks=BAD/
