what's a competitive subject test score, in general?

I'm in a place in America where no one takes the SAT Subject Tests, so I have no standard to compare myself to.

So... for competitive colleges... are SAT subject tests taken super-duper seriously, or are they secondary to the actual SAT? What kind of score range is generally acceptable for competitive colleges? 650-800ish? 700-800ish? What?

I think they’re considered on par with the SAT I. I’d say a competitive score range would be 700+, 750+ (i.e. for top-ranked colleges)

Anything over a 700 is competitive, I think. Agreed with CDN_dancer that scores are comparable to those of the sections of the regular SAT Reasoning test.
