@emptyMT RPI is in upstate New York (Troy), three hour drive/bus from NYC. The Albany airport is close by with connections to a number of cities. You probbaly won’t get a direct flight there from where you are, but no more difficult to get to than a number of the other colleges on your list.

The average Cal Poly engineering student had a composite of 33 not a math score of 33. I’m not sure if data on the engineering math subscore is available, but if it is it hasn’t been linked to in this thread.
Purdue the best school for someone with a 30 on ACT Math. Getting to a 36 on math isn’t hard. Anyone who has done fine in their math classes can get a 36. Just do practice problems. Math questions test the same concepts with different problems.
