<p>u can prove you know your algebra by acing calculus, invgamma. They look hard at your class rank so grade inflation of certain schools shouldn’t be a concern. If you are not in top 20% and your GPA is 3.98, you won’t get accepted. Try to shoot for 5% class rank, perfect math SAT, and somehow do something different that you can show for.</p>

<p>And thankfully, I am acing Calc BC without having to try. The students that have already been accepted to schools like Cornell and Yale ask me for help and tell me I’m the smart one (Okay, it is math class). What I spend my time on is relearning concepts from more than one point of view.</p>
<p>Enough of that though. I think the only thing I can do at this point is prove to MIT that it’s my absolute top choice and that I want it. Any other ideas?</p>
