Yeah, but how selective are these schools? Do you need to be in the top 2%? I mean, is a 95 considered good for these kinds of schools?
I'm applying to the New York private schools. Horace Mann, Fieldston, Riverdale, Dalton, and Trinity.
Do you think this is good for these schools?

PurpoisePal, I can't answer that specifically, however, I can say with some confidence that you will be competitive. The test is just one aspect, surely your middle school years will carry alot of weight, as will your recs, essays, etc. Good Luck!

Has anyone else actually taken the SSAT/ISEE yet, or a practise one? Just wondering, but what did you get? Did you use Princeton Review(or another book), or a tutor? Did they help, some people say they won't change your score at all...???

Does anyone know where scores have landed in the past? For example a blank out of 146 on the ISEE would place you in what percentage? If your score puts you in the 95% what was your score out of 146? Thanks!

Well, my scores combined were 95. They're not graded like that, though. I got 99% in Math Achievement, 97% in Quantatative Reasoning, 95% in Vocabulary, and 88% in Reading.

I'm not sure exactly how the percentages work, but if you called ISEE I'm sure they could let you know.

By the way- about my situation- even though I did well on the ISEE's, being that I am in 11th grade, I decided to just stick it out at my school (comparable to the ones listed above).

It's hard as hell, but this year feels a lot better than last year did. At least so far.
