What's a really easy BS class to take?

I just need to take classes that I could get an easy A in to boost my gpa.
I've already taken intro to psych and religion and am enrolled in universal access. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

underwater basket weaving

CS10 if you have an aptitude for math-like things.
Edu60 is hardish to get into, but a very easy A class. Just go to lecture.
Music 80C was easy, but I’d be wary based on who’s teaching.
Phil11 is supposedly quite easy too.

THEA 12 - Intro to stage management

I’ve never done theater or anything even moderately related and it was by far the easiest class I’ve ever taken at UCSC. No background knowledge required.

CMPE3 Personal Computers and most music classes

^Except Intro to Jazz. I’ve heard the professor is horrible and the class is a killer.

Most of the Music 80 courses are pretty easy. Some require more work than others, so I really suggest taking one with Lieberman (VERY easy). CMPE 3 is ridiculously easy if you know how to turn on a computer and can memorize answers.

There are several other classes that are easy, but they require a little more work. I now Psych 65 and CMPE 80N were easy ‘A’ classes for me, but I had friends who had trouble in those classes. Just go on ratemyprofessor and sort on easiness. You can probably find some interesting professors/courses that way

Ditto for ed 60, it’s ridiculously easy to ace provided you attend lectures and sections. In the first three weeks, you get one 30-page reading.

For that matter, ed classes in general are fairly easy. Perhaps a reflection of ed students generally placing far below most other majors in English and math (etc) proficiencies. An ed minor is sure to boost almost anybody’s GPA.

In winter, try Anthro 128 (American Evangelical Cultures). It can count for an American cultures gen-ed, and a lot of majors (psych, sociology…) will count it towards major requirements. 60% of the grade essentially comes from attendance, with the final 40% divided equally between two short ethnographic papers.

If there’s a language you’re willing to put some work into initially (or already speak to a degree), you can usually just coast in later classes and keep collecting easy A’s.
