This may seem like a dumb question but colleges always ask “Have any relatives ever attended X University?” My cousin’s cousin went to the college and I’m close to him, but does he count as a relative?
No, you need to be realistic here. It’s mother, father, grandparent, sibling. Aunt/Uncle/Cousin don’t count. You may list them as “other” I believe but they don’t count as legacy.
