Well I am in a bad predicament, I have already done about 8 tests out of the BB about 7-8 months ago when I was prepping for my first SAT. Now I am ready to take it again, for the last time hopefully, this october, but I already know all of the questions/answers in the first 8 tests subconsciously. So I want to ask what are other sets of tests that are very similar to the real SAT?

Atm I am working on the Princeton tests, I have about 8 of them. I already know the Kaplan ones are horrible since I tried them when I was prepping for my first SAT.

I find Barrons to be pretty good. I also heard McGraw Hill isn’t bad but I don’t have any experience with those. When in doubt, start with your less reliable tests and move on to the more reliable ones.

I hear lots of mixed things about PR, it’s harder, it’s easier, it’s the most accurate besides BB, it’s not accurate at all… I mean it’s all been said here, so idk about PR, but I head barrons is harder for sure

PR’s SAT book with 11 tests has way too many errors, according to people on CC. It’s corroborated by Amazon reviews.

PR’s regular SAT book looks to be OK, judging from CC reviews and the Amazon reviews.

I haven’t used a PR book this summer, so I can’t give a PR book my personal stamp of approval. But I can say that Barron’s and McGraw-Hill publish very good SAT books.

I’ve got some different opinions formed now. I tried out Barron’s yesterday and it sucked, I found the questions to be asking for answers ith a bit of ‘assumption’ rather than clear in-text answer. Don’t know if that last sentence made sense but heres my list from the books I have tried so far.

PR Cracking the SAT: Its alright.
Kaplan: I hated Kaplan math don’t know for sure about CR.
Barron: Most people recommend this but their CR workbook was not that great.
MH: Will try out soon.

Btw the Barron I used was an older 06 CR workbook copy since that is the only one my library had.

I use PR for all my AP studying and I also used its SAT practice tests to work on the math section. I found no errors in the sections I completed, and I found the questions to be quite similar to those I saw on the actual tests (I took the SAT 3 times).
