Mine is a 93-96-A, 96-100-A+

This isn't fair for some schools where their A's are 90 + beacuse i have a couple 90 averages. Hurts my GPA where to other schools it doesn't. Do colleges notice this?

93 and above is an A. There is no 'A+'. Our administration thinks that A+ is elementary for some reason.

same with my alma mater: 90-95 is A-, 96+ is an A, they don't believe in A+. So before you whine that it's not fair that you're getting A minuses, consider the fact that a)there are people with 93% who are still getting an A-, and B) you can get a freaking A+! You're already getting bit of a break there if you ask me.

90-100 is an A.

Our school is SO easy to keep a 4.0 at. 90-100=A Whether you have a 89.5 or a 101 average, it is not reflected in your final GPA!

In my school 90 - 100 is an A. There are no A- or A+.

The "official" grading scale is 93-100 is an A (no A+), but some of the more difficult teachers use a 90-100 scale.

For us 90-92 A-
93-96 A
97-100 A+

AP Physics is...

A= 85-100
B=75-85
C= 60-75
its pretty hard to get anything under a C even if ur a complete idiot.

A= 93-100
B= 82-92
C=75-81

Ditto Tonyt

90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
65-69 D
Below 65=F

94-100 A, no A+'s

100-90=A=4.0
80-89=B=3.0
79-70=C=2.0
69-60=D=1.0
59-0=F=0

It isn't hard to get all As if one puts their best effort but I've gotten a few B+=3.0 so one 88-89% or so by itself will knock your 4.0 to a 3.85 just for having that 89. My school does NOT do round ups. So a 89.5 is still a B.

So at some schools like mine it is definitely easier to get a 4.0 However this is the regulation for public schools if I am correct. I believe all public schools use the same grading system because it was implemented and the school doesn't have a choice to use another one.

90-95 = A.

93-100 A
85-92 B
77-84 C
70-76 D
<70 F

No + or -

It really varies by teacher here.
The English department has a policy of 90-100 = A (+ or - is up to the teacher)
whereas other subjects usually allow 89.5-100=A (once again, + or - is the teacher's choice).
However, classes such as AP Physics and AP Chem use a scale like the following:
<60=F
60-65=D
65-70=C
70-75=B-
75-80=B
80-85=B+
85-90=A-
90-95=A
95-100=A+
Some teachers don't do + or - and some others will bump up 89.5 holistically (they look at your overall performance to see if you deserve it)

93-100 = A.

My school doesn't believe in A+s. Only .3 weight for honors/AP. Talk about grade deflation.

93-100 A
85-92 B
77-84 C
70-76 D
<70 F

Wow...Talk about grade deflation....your school beats mine gellino.

92-93 A-
94-98 A
99-100 A+

does not round up:(
