hi everyone. my question is straight and simple.
whats an ACT and whats ivy league?
and could anyone tell me what an AP test is
thank u for the answer

ACT is a standardized test to get into college, like the SAT. ivy league schools are colleges which are among the elite colleges. an AP test is a standardized test in a specific subject

ACT is a college test similar to the SAT. All US colleges will accept scores from either test although the tests are somewhat different.

The Ivy League in its purist sense is an athletic conference composed of 8 highly selective schools - Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Penn, Dartmouth and Cornell. In a more general sense, people use the term Ivy League to mean any school that is at the top of the US Today rankings.

AP stands for Advanced Placement. Students often take college level courses in high school. They take a test in the spring and if they score high enough, they can often get college credit for the course when they enroll in an undergraduate institution. It is up to the enrolling college if they will grant credit or not and how high a score is required to get the credit.

Ivy League is actually a sports conference of 8 schools, all of which happen to be great schools.

335 I’m glad to see you got some traffic here. Great question by the way

Everyone who made a serious response to this thread is an idiot.

Seriously.

Dun feed dem trollz, yo.

I don’t think he’s a ■■■■■. Pretty sure he’s just an opinionated/confused 8th grader. So take it easy.

Trust me, he is. Look at his other posts.

I read his other posts while browsing that child topic. I don’t see a problem.

Total ■■■■■.

…okay then.

Maybe you can tell me what about his posts makes him a ■■■■■? Again, just sounds like an opinionated 8th grader.

335 is cracking up right now

well for one, he spelled “cells” correctly earlier, then spelled it “sells.” that’s not the type of thing that’s just a typo. his “typos” are constant. it’s obvious he has a sense of humor, as he mocks people’s usernames that are a little strange. its kinda hard to explain, it’s just obvious to me

Either a ■■■■■ or an 8th grader. Regardless: Google

NOW THE ■■■■■■ SHALL GROW FAT WITH OUR KNOWLEDGE

I don’t get it.

ACT stands for American Conservatory Theater, a live theater group located in the Bay area. It can also stand for Australian Capital Territory, Additional Centre Tank, Advanced Cell Technology, Aviation Composite Technology, Association for Citizenship Teaching, and countless other things.

The Ivy League was a 1960’s pop band who produced two top-10 UK singles, “Funny How Love Can Be” (1965) and “Tossing and Turning” (1965).

When you refer to an “AP test,” I think you’re actually meaning to ask what the Vedic Sanskrit term “Ap” means. It means “water.”

You’re welcome.

^^^^^^wow, lol

I’m telling you guys, 335 is a complete ■■■■■. I just graduated 8th grade, and at my school; even the dumbest of the dumb are more articulate and sensible than 335’s posts would suggest he is. Additionally, no 8th grader with 335’s apparent language skills and mental capacity even thinks about college admissions, let alone has an account on CC.
