Whats an Honors Program? Ad/Dis

It's 25¢ to $1 to print a page at my school. That's why free printing is a big deal.

For a page?!

Your school sucks...what school do you go to, by the way? lol

Whoa! We get 1000 pages free each semester, after that its 10 cents a page!

You basically do a bit more than the general stuff, like specializing in a discipline.

The smaller classes also make it easier for get to know professors.

This makes it easier to get letters of reference for grad school.

Theoretically yes, but what if those classes are dominated by TA's? (Yes, I'm a bit bitter because this is the case at NYU)

Honors classes at my school aren't led by TAs. They're usually anywhere from 15-30 people and are seminars directly led by the professor. What's the point of honors if you're not even being taught by the actual professor?

The honors classes at my school generally have around 20 students and are all taught by professors.

I've heard that it's pretty easy to get in the lab (like as a professor's assistant) if you're in the honors program, as well.
