What's an mba? What kind of job can i get with an mba?

That’s a pretty broad question, but I’ll do my best to answer it!

There aren’t too many requirements other than having a bachelor’s degree and applying for admission into an MBA program. Applying to a MBA program is the tricky part, though, because it isn’t easy to get in. There are more selective MBA programs that you can apply to as well as other programs that are less selective. Just make sure to make good grades while earning your undergraduate degree and get good extracurriculars so your application can stand out among the rest.

With good job experience before earning an MBA, you will be able to secure a higher level administration job in the business world. If you go straight through your bachelor’s degree to a master’s degree, it will be harder to earn as high of a salary as you would if you had good work experience, but a candidate with an MBA degree will have a good chance at being hired to an entry-level manager job.

With the increasing cost of education, the question of getting an MBA being financially wise is more pressing. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that people with a master’s degree earn an average of about $10,000-$12,000 per year more than those with a bachelor’s degree. That increase in yearly salary adds up quickly in the years after earning an MBA and makes an online MBA a responsible financial investment.
