I have one day left to decide whether or not I am taking AP euro, and I'm still unsure. I am a sophomore, and all of the rest of the classes I am planning on taking are at the advanced (honors) level. I also play basketball for my school, so Im not sure how much time I will have for an AP class. I really want to take AP euro, but it is the hardest class at my school, and I want to know what I'm getting into first. I know your school is not the exact same as mine, but I'm wondering what the class will be like. Is the material difficult to understand? How much is your workload every night, and how much studying do you have to do for tests and such? Were you able to maintain a good grade while also trying to maintain good grades in other advanced classes? How hard is the class in general? I know there's a lot of questions, but if you could at least answer some, that would be great!! Thanks.

Don’t know but I plan on taking it next year

Sorry if this is late, but you should take this class. You learn a LOT about history and it’s very helpful in understanding how we got here today. As for workload, you’ll probably have to do a lot of reading, but you can slim that down with the help of online resources and/or review books.

I liked it a lot. It is, so far, the best class I’ve taken. I love European history, and my teacher was an awesome woman from England. I think it depends on the teacher, but the subject itself is super interesting.

Workload, it was a lot, for me. I had a lot of reading, a lot of packets, a lot of essays. But it helped, I got a 4
