<p>Yeah, not so much. It’s helpful to know terms, though many of the terms tested are rather self-explanatory. Some aren’t, so you should memorize them. History isn’t tested at all, so that’s pretty much completely irrelevant. If you’ve been well-drilled in an instrument, the class should be a breeze. If you are a beginner to written music the class will probably be somewhat challenging, depending a bit on how it’s taught at your particular school.</p>
<p>Ah well, I suppose that’s the way it is at my school - they really pile on the terms here, obscure and wide. A lot of students who don’t know better take the class because it sounds easy, and they fail miserably. I have one friend that’s been singing since she was little, is quite intelligent and in other AP’s, yet she studied hardest for this class.</p>
