I'm a sophomore (only!), and today, I decided to scour Pomona's site. My reaction? I AM IN LOVE!

Great academics (especially strong in bio, my intended field), great weather, undergrad focus, small univ but the consortium gives you 6000 students, varsity sports which are accessible to me...what's bad about this place? ;)

The only thing I can think of is that there is a Pomona bubble. As a senior getting ready to leave it can be difficult. Life is very comfortable at Pomona even though you work hard. There is an ease socially , with like minded students always accessible. I describe them as friendly social nerds ( in a good way mind you).
The only other think I can think of is that you become like a family and will bump into other Pomona students in this small campus. If you break up from a long term relationship or have an uncomfortable hook up you will be in classes and social situations regularly with this person. That would happen in any small college however and the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages.
You also can not be invisible in class very easily.

The cell phone service is pretty terrible/seemingly nonexistent in some dorms and areas.
If that's the first thing that comes to my mind though, things really aren't too rough at Pomona.
