What's best choice (all other things being equal) for school to launch into Wall Street/Finance? Richmond, U Miami, Northeastern, Kelley (Indiana) or Colgate? Thank you!

Would appreciate any advice on best program for undergraduate business/finance. Thank you

What’s the cost of each? None of those are targets, but all have pathways to Wallstreet.

I’d remove UMiami from the bunch.

Then, you have Kelley and Northeastern, both are heavily pre-professional, larger.
Colgate and URichmond have good reputations and “place” well, with a different environment (more personal).
Colgate and IU would have more spectator sports events and a “sports culture”, if that matters to you.
URichmond and Northeastern are in cities.
Colgate is remote, but clearly it doesn’t keep its graduates from obtaining summer internships

Do you have a preference?
If you could build your optimal college, what would it be like?

Thank you so much! Just curious - why remove Miami?

You said you wanted the best choice to launche your career in finance (including WS), so it’s the obvious one to cut out since it’s less likely to lead to WS-level finance.

Colgate is a great pre-professional school with an awesome career services department but they offer neither business nor finance as majors. Their Econ department is great, if that’s what you are considering.

Thank you very much - appreciate all your advice

Nothing is ever equal.

Miami Farmer does place grads in IB in Chicago but NYC seems rare. The top Kelley kids (who get in to the IB workshop there) do get in to IB (mostly at mid-markets and boutiques). You definitely do see Colgate and Richmond grads on the Street. I haven’t heard much of NEU in finance, but being in Boston, there should be opportunities at mutual funds.

That aside, the environment (and most likely costs) would be most different.
