What's best for me? Please I need help!

Ok so i know that people are always asking what others think but I really need help.
So I am beginning to search for colleges and I would like to go to college in either Rhode Island, Connecticut or Massachusetts.
My GPA is a 3.3 and I take AP and accelerated courses. I compete on both indoor and outdoor track. Can anyone give me some suggestions on colleges?
Thank you!

How much can your family afford? Do you want a small or large school? Rural or urban? What do you intend to study?

Well with room and board and tuition I don’t want to spend more then 25,000 and i intend to either study education or journalism

UConn seems to be the obvious choice for your budget, stats, likely majors, and location.

That will work if the OP is in-state for Conn or taking an allowable major under the New England Regional Student Program. [New England Regional Student Program :: Undergraduate Admissions :: University of Connecticut](http://admissions.uconn.edu/tuition/regional.php) Otherwise it would be another $13K above the budget.

OP, what is your home state?

Connecticut

UConn is your best choice based on your stats, interests and budget.

Definitely UConn.

What state do you live in? (I’m mobile I can’t tell)

I don’t know any school where you would be able to pay 25k for room board tuition etc except your state flagship. I’m instate UCONN and it’s 21k for me, and I believe 35k for OOD.

OOS whoops.

And to add on the previous mention of the new England scholarship- it has to be a major not offered in your state. I want to major in comp. sci, but if I attended UMass I would opt for computer systems engineering, an then I would be eligible for almost instate tuition.
