What's better?

Please tell me whats better to send:

A 720 Math I score

A 700 Math II score

I am applying to the College of Arts and Sciences, not engineering or a Math related field …
In your opinion … which is better to send?

i think when you send SAT scores to colleges they see everything. correct me if im wrong someone.

Probably whichever gets you the higher percentile..although realize that the schools you send your scores to will see all of your scores.

yes , i know they will see everything... but on the application it tells you to pick the top 2 that you want colleges to evaluate .....

Let me revise the question...

If you had to pick... what would you want:

A. A 700 Math II score
B. A 720 Math 1 score

?????

700 math II

the math II

i heard that colleges DO NOT look at percentiles nor do they take into account how many wrong you have to get to achieve a certain score..

true?

Good question... they probably don't, would be my guess.

Hmm..I heard that the percentiles are more important than the actual score because the colleges can see where you rank amongst the other seniors applying to college. Also, the percentiles really vary--like my friend got a 740 in Math 2 I think two years ago, and got 75th percentile. Another friend got 720 in Math 1 and ended up with 88th percentile.

But I'm hoping that colleges only look at scores - that would be so much better!

sky where did you hear that??.... i believe my college guidance counselor, who was an admissions officer for 5 years at a competitve college said that they dont look at percentiles ...

I think that one of my teachers mentioned that to me, but he may be wrong - at least I hope so! Maybe you could ask your guidance counselor again just to confirm? That would be awesome.
