what's better?

double major in accouting/economics or major un accounting and minor in math (emphasis in financial math) or just major in accounting and taking some extra finance or more accounting courseS? ( at SDSU )

I plan to get a MAcc.. but whats better for accounting? econ or math? or any other suggestions..

thanks in advance

anyone?....

i would take accounting if you plan on becoming a CPA, if not then a class or two would be ok.

if you are planning on a business career then eco or math would be an excellent choice.

is a mba in your future?

If you're planning on just accounting then an accounting major with other courses is fine. If you want to go into finance or get an MBA later then an econ or math minor would be helpful, especially math.

is it helpful to get MBA after MAcc?

I have some questions about MBA.. is it the same to get MBA after business major or engineering or any other major? or engineering + MBA better? or business + MBA? or any comb

there does not seem to be a ug major/course requirement for an MA in Corporate Communication. an open curriculum maybe helpful to allow you to take a wide range of course work.

it depends on what your career goals are? i would give more weight to mba if you are business focused.

the most important thing is to get meaningful work experience before applying for an mba. that said, certain ug/mba combination maybe attractive.

ug engineerging/mba finance is an example of a popular combination.

the combination you want depends on your career/job/industry goals.
