Need help figuring out ACT conversions. I'm planning on majoring in English. I already have my SAT scores sent, but I cant decide if I should bother sending my ACT scores.

a 710 CR 710 M 790 W (2210 total) SAT
and a 700 and 670 Sat II
Or...
a 31 ACT, with the breakdown of...
Reading- 35
English- 33
Math- 28
Science- 28

...any suggestions? My only qualm is that on the conversion charts I've looked at, it says that a 31 ACT is equivalent to...
1360-1400 on the old SAT and a 2040 on the new one...which is definitely worse than what I actually got. However, my other thought is that I did well on the English-y sections of the ACT, which is what my entire academic career focuses on anyways. Hmmmmmm...

The SAT is better, since the concordance table used by most colleges puts your ACT in the 1360-1400 category, whereas your SAT is 1420.

My suggestion would be to retake the ACT in December bcos your have a shot to move it to 32/33 which could really help your apps to amy college; go standby. With your strong SAT-M score, you should be able to do better on ACT math. And, the ACT science is mostly reading charts and graphs; do the dueling scientist problems last since they are the hardest and actually require you to read the passage. Pickup PR's guide to the ACT and practice over Turkey break. Just remember, the ACT is much more of a speed test, so pacing is critical.
