i just took a math iic practice test and scored very very low...i would post a score to give u an idea but the barrons book does not have scales...so im saying it might be in the 500...which for math iic is like 20 percentile...
im taking precalc and i have an A in every math class...i also have an 800 sat 1 math...i just dont know the precalc stuff well because our teacher goes very slowly...
my question is...should i study a lot over these three weeks and try to prepare for the math iic...or just take the 1c where i think i will do better???
btw im looking at selective schools for a science major and 7 year med programs...
thanks

Don't let the Barron's Math IIc book intimidate you.

It's notoriously harder than the real test and the practice exams are much harder than those in other practice books. Typically, posters recommend it if you want to be over prepared for the exam (the material is said to be the most comprehensive), but if you feel that the book's causing you to loose confidence, it may suit you best to review the math concepts in the Barron's book but to take practice tests from another (princeton review, real practice SAT IIs, etc).

yeah barrons SUCKS i have us history and Im scoring bad as well yet history is my best subject!

more imput plz

yeah, barrons is notorious for being harder than the actual thing.

why dont you try to see if you can teach urself the materials, as test day nears, if you feel like you won't be able to handle it, switch to the 1c. A good score on the 1c is better than a bad score on the 2c.

what is the 10 accurate math2c practice tests called again? i want to buy that.
