What's everyone else doing this winter break?

Movies, video games, just relieving stress. What about you?

Reading some fiction, unwinding, etc. is the main focus, but also trying to teach myself some skills that will help next semester…jump start on math, programming, etc. WAY more of the former, though.

I worked at a grocery store over the summer, so I’m back here to work for a little while since I’m home and it’s the holidays and all. Besides that I’m sleeping in and watching Netflix.

Reading fiction and manga, catching up on tv shows, going out to eat with friends, relearning buffers (for chem) -___-;

Watch tv, sleep, read books for pleasure, study for next semesters classes, apply for internships, hang out with my family and my sister. One whole month!

We have five weeks off this year. So far, only been watching TV/catching up on some shows and sleeping. I went to NYC yesterday to see the Rockettes with my family. I’m going to read for pleasure and clean up my room, too. Oh and try to not let my family drive me crazy.

I’m also going to SoCal and Las Vegas for my 21st birthday! I’m so excited, leaving after New Year’s and returning two weeks later.

I plan on finishing applying for a few big scholarships. Just something to keep my mind off my college admission decisions for the next few months! I also plan on catching up on my senior coursework and some sleep. lol

I’m mostly just going to relax and forget about school. I did pretty well in my classes this semester so it will make the break more enjoyable than last year, although grades don’t officially come out until next Friday and I don’t know my grades 100% (only know 1 out of 3) so it’s a bit agonizing, but it should be fine.

I’ve mostly been catching up on Family Guy, surfing the net, being with my family, etc. Going to hang out a lot with friends too, watch some football, go to the movies, etc. I have 3.5 weeks off so it will be nice, although I’m sure I’ll get bored after a while. Ordered some textbooks for next semester but at most I’ll probably only skim the first few chapters.

I’ll be looking at jobs to pay for the bills next semester. In between I shall reread After School Nightmare or Hikaru no Go. And then play with snow.

Working. Binging on Law and Order SVU and Criminal Intent marathons, courtesy of Netflix, reading some and writing some.

Vacationing on the warm, summery beaches of Uruguay for a few weeks. Should be nice.

I’ll be catching up on CSI: Miami on Netflix and watching my Hunger Games DVD and some others as well. :-)

Rewatching a bunch of anime, buying new clothes because it turns out I dropped a scary amount of weight during the first qrtr of college…everything is loose now, hanging out with my mom, distracting myself from the reality of college and important deadlines LOL.

I’m interning in Washington, D.C.

I’m surfing the net, playing video games, reading some fiction, drawing and writing, going back to studying Finnish seriously, and I’ve been watching The Walking Dead. I also plan on starting to buy textbooks this weekend. My sister plans to visit, so that’s going to jump my video gaming by a lot. :)

Since the world didn’t end, it looks like I’m going to have to get off my lazy arse and apply for some internships.

Other than that I shall be watching tv, playing on my computer, and I need to start working out again. Not much more than that.

I planned to:
fix my laptop’s touchpad
organize all of the files I have on my computer
build a study place in the garage
review organic chemistry
learn advanced organic chemistry
review calculus
review kinematics
sleep

I have done and am in the process of doing some of these things.

forgot that my aforementioned vacation is a family one. 3 weeks of forced social interaction. shoot me now.

5 weeks of pure death. I miss SoCal already. Listen to Avicii, think about Beyond, play with my dog, play Sims, maybe read my history book for next semester… and miss my college friends. :(

NOTHING! And uhh, maybe reading ahead for next semester’s classes. But I’m mostly just enjoying the doing nothing bit at the moment… It’s rather nice.
