<p>There seems to be no point in applying to the States from Canada if it were to some OK school… and because of financial situation, I can’t pay to go to schools that offer no FA for canadians or/and are need-aware… which cuts me from a lot of schools.</p>

<p>Cornell > UPenn/Yale/Princeton/Harvard cuz I really really like Ezra’s mandate "I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.” Somewhat similar to what I believe in, but with airplanes =S</p>

<p>Hmmmmmm… it seems odd that you’d consider Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth, Brown, etc. back ups seeing as they’re harder to get into than Cornell.</p>

<p>Well those aren’t really my backups, my main safety is Brandeis (because I wouldn’t mind going there and they give merit scholarships).
And Cornell is different because you can have amazing stats and still get rejected if you don’t fit the program you’re applying to.</p>
