<p>IDOC = Institutional Documentation Service, it is a service used by colleges to verify the information submitted on FAFSA and CSS Profile forms. No, not very school requires it. Out of the 5 my d applied to only two requested tax forms through IDOC. Not sure if the deadline is the same for all colleges but my guess is yes, both of my d's schools want the IDOC request sent in by March 1.</p>
