What's in USC application

I know there's part I and part II but what does part II look like? does USC requires counselor/teacher evaluations? does USC accept additional recommendations?

I also have a question regarding the recommendations.

Is there a way I can get early access to those forms early, like, before part II comes out (it hasn’t come out yet has it?). All my teachers are telling me that if we need recommendations, we should get it to them early, but it’s not possible to get it to them early at this rate…

The old form is available online. http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1011/Form4_2010.pdf</a> You can print it out, cross out the year and write in the current year. USC is fairly flexible about that kind of thing - as long as you get the recommendation in on time, they will not mind that it is on last year’s form.

Thank you!!

I am also wondering (sorry if I am intruding on someone else’s question thread) if USC wants two recommendations, one from teacher and one from counselor, or just one from either one? The way they stated it on the site was kind of confusing…

Also, if I print this recommendation sheet out, how do I turn it in for the online application when it comes out? Do I scan it and submit it online or mail it to USC, separately from my online application?

^ Only one recommendation is required, but you can submit more if you feel the additional recommendations add something to your application.

If you print it out, you can mail it in with the sealed letters of recommendation. I would not advise opening the letters and scanning them, because then they would no longer be official. When the application becomes available, there may be a way to have your recommenders submit a recommendation directly to USC electronically (many schools have this available now), but you would have to wait for the online application to become available before you could use that.

As long as you include your USC ID# on everything you send it will be matched up. USC is very flexible about how you get the materials in - just get it to them somehow and they will match it up.
