it has to be Calculus Ap BC and Chem AP b/c for one, my math teacher is way to hard, last yr. 95% of his students got a 5 and everyone in the class took the Ap exam. so yea and he is very tough. its impossible to get an A in his class. ANd my chem teacher sucks. so I guess i have to teach myself half of the stuff, tht she dosent cover very well

sigh...ap com science.......I am not realli good at it

IB Chemistry HL is heartwrenching, life-consuming, GPA-destroying overwork and misery and pain. And I love it.

(sigh)

How do you love it? Either you have no life, or you're obsessed with schoolwork. Either way, its weird.

It's an interesting class, even as it works you to death. ;)

We're all nerds here. You knew that.

Well, I admit I am a SAT addict :P

I feel the same way about AP Chem! It's ruining my gpa (along with calc which i hate), but I love the class. I have a great teacher (the ohio chemistry teacher of the year one or two years ago), who not only cares about chemistry, but about her students, as people and students. I love the subject, and even though I'm not doing as well as I'd like, it's worth it! :D

That doesnt make sense at all. I only like a class if the teacher is fun and when I get an A in the course.

dang, almost 9000 posts!

My chemistry teacher is the perfect stereotypical Brit, and the most sarcastic person I've ever met. And brilliant. And a little bit of a sadist...

omg, you're just 15! you'll get white hair soon from all the work :D

We get graded on the IB scale of 1 to 7, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get straight 7's. I think the highest GPA in my school's history was a 6.7, and that guy was a genius (he's at MIT now). We've had people get into Ivies with 6.2's. One 5+/6 (B+/A-) in the hardest course the school offers isn't going to ruin anyone's record.

lol. good for u. Chemistry indeed is really interesting. The concept of H and S really was interesting. Have u noticed that somethings that aren't even distinctively the same have the same units for the entropy unit?

Chemistry is the love of my life. I thought I loved biology, but chemistry is so much more hard-core. At my school, at least, you really have to love it to do well.

bump.............

I love chem too! It is awesome...so clear and definitive. Unlike bio, which is mostly just naming things and processes. We have an amazing chem teacher as well, which helps. I'm so mad I couldn't take AP Chem until next year (scheduling)

Exactly.

My hardest class is AP Physics C. It has many of the smartest kids in my competitive school, but only 2 kids got A+s first term. Somehow I was one of them (I basically blew off every other class for it).

Calculus AB for me. I am not very good in Math (I manage high B's usually), but I pulled a 78 this term (ouch).

It's not that I don't understand the material-it basically boils down to my teacher giving us tests that deviate from the material we covered or putting obscure problems on the tests when the objective is to test how well someone understands the concept; it shouldn't be about tricking students.

mhm. I'd have to say Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra.
