What's it like living at CoC

To any CoC studens. What is it like living there. Is it safe? What happens when there is no more dorm rooms? Do you have to rent apartments in the city? How safe is it at night? How easy/hard would it be for a north east kid to fit in?

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, one more thing. Any thoughts on the nursing program at MUSC?

Thanks.

well I'm not a C of C student, but I've been to Charleston many times and my Aunt lives there as well. Downtown Charleston from what I know and have experienced is very safe, as long as you're not in the wrong place at the wrong time. The most dangerous part of Charleston is probably North Charleston but that's way off campus. I don't know what to tell you about dorm rooms, I'm pretty sure they have enough for everybody, why accept more people than they have rooms? Its pretty safe at night as well, as long as you aren't again in the wrong place at the wrong time (wrong time being about 3 AM, etc). Finally I don't know exactly how a NE kid would fit in, I would think fairly easy because it is the south and everybody down south is very hosipitable and friendly (as long as the person they are being friendly to is friendly back to them) It might be hard for a NE kid if they're use to the hustle and bustle of the North, (Southerners take their time, they are NOT LAZY). But I would think it would be fairly easy to adapt and remember for the most part, the freshman on campus are trying to adjust as well, so everyone's pretty much in the same boat.

Don't know about the nursing program at MUSC, look it up on their website

thank you for your insight into the CoC area. Sounds better now.
