What's it like?

<p>I've never visited Chapel Hill, but I applied RD (it's a reach) and I'd really like to know what the atmosphere is like. I was deferred ED from UVa, and I've been told that UNC is pretty similar to it in that it's in an equally great college town, so...</p>

<p>Do students fall under any general category (other than North Carolinian, heh) ie. preppy?
What is there to do in town?
Does social life revolve around Greek system?</p>

<p>Students fall under a myriad of catagories, the general stereotype however is that the students are stuck up, and arrogant basketball fans. However, that stereotype is made to contrast the "hick, idiot, NC State students." I don't really tend to look at either school in that light.</p>
