What are professors like? Are they helpful/love teaching or do most just like what they teach? And what are the students like? Are the dorms nice?

Also, what are the pros and cons of going to Princeton? Are there a lot of clubs/activities/sports?

Have you visited the campus? I’m not a Princeton student, but I spent 3 days on campus as an athletic recruit, and it was amazing! For me, the charm operated.

My first impression was that everyone is happy at Princeton.

Dorms are dorms, but they were nicer thant what I’d seen in other schools (I stayed in two different colleges; Wilson was ok, Withman was awesome – I hope I end there next year). The food was soooo good in every dining hall, I especially loved the sunday morning brunch in Forbes. The students I met were friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic, they talked about their teachers with admiration. We went on Nassau Sreet in the eating clubs so I got a sense of the party scene, it was awesome. We went back after midnight and they were offering free cookies in a small cafe on campus, where students were enjoying their saturday night, playing piano, playing cards, chilling…

After visiting Princeton I didn’t want to visit anywhere else. If you have this opportunity, go get a look by yourself.

It will truly be the most incredible four years of your life

Best thing that’s ever happened to me. Cherish these four years; they go by quickly.

Variety pretty much sums up Princeton. There are so many activities and different types of professors and students. If you invest the time in getting reviews from other students on different professors, you can be guaranteed to find amazing professors as I have. I was in the notoriously worst dorm on campus my first year, and I loved it. Some students complain about being stressed out with work, but I feel that in any other school, they would be taking on the same heavy course loads because that’s who they are. I have no complaints about Princeton. In college, you have the freedom to take on as much responsibility as you can handle. If you’re wise and know your limits, these four years will pass like the best dream you’ve ever had.
