Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone out there goes to Millbrook, and if so, what they think or thought of it!
Thanks!

130 views but no responses?!?!

Millbrook isn’t one of the more popular (or talked about) schools on this board, therefore you probably won’t get as many responses as you would like, and may have to do a little research.
Check out some of threads in the search below:

Millbrook is an excellent, interesting school. A bit preppy, moderately selective but not super selective. Beautiful campus in horsey Dutchess country. Nearly all facilities recently renovated or brand new. The only fully accredited, full spectrum zoo of any boarding school in the country. Strong athletics programs. Among the top two or three community service programs. Well managed: Head Drew Casertano is very strong and the Chairman of the Trustees is also top notch. Good to excellent college outcomes. It’s an excellent, smallish school with plenty of smart, motivated kids, but not an annoying, hyper competitive environment. I think the school is really quite good and content to sail under the radar of HADES and scoop up their great WL kids.

Thanks!
yeah I don’t know if I’d be very good in a super competitive environment so I would really like to get to know the smaller schools!
Thanks for the info!

Milbrook is small, but beautiful, really pretty, and they have that zoo. The kids I know who went there are amazing–nice, polite, smart. Both are at Cornell now. Milbrook has decent hockey. it is not known as one of the more academic schools from where I am sitting, but it is still a favorite of many because it is about more than just athletics. Plus it is close to the NY area. Drew looks like a catalog model and is an all around great guy.
