i really want to go to harvard. im sure everyone reading this feels the same as i do. it has been a dream of mine for quite some time but i dont think that my stats are good enough:

SAT I: 2140 (700 M 660 V 780 W)
SAT IIs: 730 Math 660 US History 660 Chemistry
African American, but far from poor
President of a few clubs, editor of school paper, saluditorian
GPA: 3.96 weighted
Commended student (one of top 50,000 scorers on PSAT)

do i have a chance? please be honest. so many people got 2300+ and perfect 800s on their subject tests that i feel beneath everyone else.

Your test scores are kinda low, but with your URM status, you have a good chance. You're saluditorian with a 3.96 weighted? How competitive is your school?

its weird how my SAT score is in like the 95th percentile, but it is so low compared to everyone else on cc. i got a 32 on the ACT, which is also low, but its the 90 something percentile, as well.

you got great stats, and although i cant really give you any chances because i am in no position to do so and even if i did it would have no bearing on DEC15, i hope you fare well, even if LI has a lot of applicants

It's so funny how I have slightly higher SAT II subject tests scores...but you smoked my OO in the reg SAT. :) My scores are from junior year so I hope they take that into account but I think you have a good shot! Just take a look at the final chance to see my horrid predicament.
