What's my chance of admission at BU?

<p>I’m a junior and BU is my number one choice. I’ll most likely be applying early decision!</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.60</p>

<p>Weighted GPA: 4.20</p>

<p>ACT: 27 (33 English, 27 Math, 22 Reading, 25 Science, 31 Writing/English). I just retook it on Saturday and I believe I did much better on the reading section.</p>

<p>11th grade’s APs: AP Biology, AP Language and Comp, AP Spanish 5.</p>

<p>Next year’s APs: AP Chemistry, AP Literature, AP Statistics, AP Spanish 6.</p>

<p>National, Science, Math, and Foreign Language Honor Societies.</p>

<p>260 hours of volunteer service.</p>

<p>Poms (dance team) for 3 years (considered a varsity sport and is also a two-season sport).</p>

<p>Dancer in 4 drama club productions.</p>

<p>Volunteered as camp counselor in training for 2 years.</p>

<p>Paid camp counselor this summer.</p>

<p>If you get a 30+ on your ACTs you should be in good shape. It also depends on which school/program within BU that you are applying to as some are more competitive than others. Either way, you should be fine if you brought up your ACT.</p>

<p>Just got my ACT score back. I got a 28 (32 English, 27 Math, 27 Reading, 26 Science). Opinions about my chances now?</p>

<p>I also will be applying to CAS, majoring in either Chemistry or Biology with an interest in veterinary medicine.</p>
