Hi my GPA is a 95 unweighted 101.5 weighted. Could someone please give me a rough translation to these on the 4.0 scale? Thanks!

There is none. Many combinations could give you that average. You have to look at each grade, and convert it.

4.0: 90-100
3.0: 80-89
2.0: 70-79
1.0: 60-69
0.0: 0-59

Then add them all together and average them. If you have half-credits and full credits, then add the full credits twice. A 95 full credit and 87 half credit would average out to roughly 3.67, as (4+4+3)/3.

This will give you your unweighted GPA. As weight systems vary greatly between schools, there is no adequate conversion.

^ Not necessarily true; our school breaks it down by + and - between the letter grade as well.

(4.0 = 94+, 3.67, 3.33, etc then divide by # of credits)

I’m not really sure if colleges recalculate it though so I guess it varies between schools. Your overall % doesn’t really mean much, especially if you have ‘easy A’ classes.
