<p>I imagine a lot of it depends on the school. I remember getting some stuff through the mail and some stuff through e-mail.</p>
<p>If you’re really that concerned try contacting someone at the school you were accepted.</p>
<p>At my program, we indicated our acceptance to the graduate school through the same online program we used to apply. We indicated our acceptance to the department by personal communication to the director of the graduate program (either by email or phone). The DGS when I was accepted misplaced my email, so you may want to be safe and call to confirm receipt of the acceptance email.</p>
