So I just found out I got a 3 on the Calc BC exam which means I have to take the Math placement test. Since my orientation is about 3 weeks away, I want to start reviewing for it. Does anyone know what kind of math is on it?

How did you get your AP scores already?

Trig, Geometry, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.

It's not hard, but most people forget their basic geometry and algebra tricks while taking Calc, so reviewing isn't a bad idea.

whoa speedy howd u get scores already?

You can call college board and find out. It costs $8 though.

Are the algebra 2 topics advanced? Specifically, would there be any conics? I haven't worked with those in a really long time and completely forgot them.

They used to link to a practice test before, but it doesn't show up on the website anymore. I think it would still be generally the same content though.

For previous years, UCLA received AP scores and posted them on my.ucla around the first week of July.

just check myucla under admissions, they should post your AP scores soon... seriously don't worry about the math placement test, it is like 60 questions and you need to get above a 34 I think to pass which is like a low D on regular test on basic stuff not even limits and derivatives... also note no matter how high you score on it you'll still be placed in the same math as someone score a 35... I didn't study for it at all last year and still easily passed it

Yeah the math test is extremely easy...

BRING A GRAPHING CALCULATOR!!! I didn't and it made everything harder, but still doable.
