What's so good about having a minor?

<p>I have recently been choosing between, Electrical Engineer, Joint Math and Econ, Econ and Management Science (Econ). However, I'm sure I'd go with Electrical Engineering no matter what. However, I have a friend that is getting a minor in Econ while having Bioeng as his major. </p>

<p>So my question is, what's so good about having that Econ minor?
Reason being that I want to go to business school after I finish up EE. Do you guys think that this minor will help me?</p>

<p>People get into MBA and other grad schools with totally differnent undergrad majors, but it's still good to have a foundation I guess, that's where the minor comes in.</p>
