Definitely. It's really quite common in fact. Although Tufts is not a "target school" (meaning MOST I-banks or major Wall Street Players do not actively recruit), SOME firms do recruit on campus. JP Morgan (Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan is actually a Tufts graduate with a Harvard MBA), Morgan Stanley, and DE Shaw (the famous quant hedge fund) all do active recruiting at Tufts. As for the rest of the firms, they generally have "resume / CV drops" and then do a "super day" of interviews with regional schools.

As for going on to get an MBA, plenty of Tufts grads do this. I did a little snooping on the bloomberg terminal at work.. and there are hundreds and hundreds of Tufts students around the world at major firms, hedge funds, private equity firms, and real estate. A significant number of them hold MBA's also.

If you are pursuing a career on Wall Street, it is slightly more difficult coming from Tufts, but you really just have to network like crazy. And as for MBA's, most business schools frown upon people with an undergrad business degree or just a simple econ degree, so a liberal arts background is a plus in that regard.
