what's TBA?

i want to take Psychology and social Behavior: INTR HUMAN BEHAVIOR . there's no time for the Discussion. it just says TBA?! what does that mean? i'm totally clueless.

uh...
TBA means "to be announced".

oh..
thanks. that sucks, what if they announce a time that conflicts with our schedule?

I was at Anteaterforum and one member said that if it says TBA under 'time' it means the discussion is totally optional and you don't need to take it. Seems strange to me though. You should call Irvine.

caligurl... whens ur enrollment window?

aug 14th 2:30pm

YEAH! that's exactly like mine. im thinking of taking natural disasters just to fill my breadth and even thoug the time for the lecture is available, the discussion is TBA and im afraid it might screw up my other classes.

I spoke to my friend who's a fourth-year this year and works with social ecology and she told me not to risk the TBA because it can potentially cause a huge conflict with another class. She told me that I should start with E8 because they are not gonna be offering it regularly every quarter (since they are getting rid of the major). They are offering it this quarter... but there is no guarantee they will offer it later on... and that can become an issue for graduation if you delay it because they are eventually gonna stop offering it.

Sooo... I guess it's gonna be E8 for me this quarter... gotta revise my schedule a bit :)... better finding out late rather than never .

what class is E8? i dont see it on the breadth list.

E8 is a class u have to take if you are majoring in PSB or Criminology or social ecology... it should be under "social sciences" breadth...
