Anyone got the stats?

No, I don’t know the exact stats, but I do know that they are often misleading. It’s somewhere between 35% and 45%, however, that’s only because Rochester has a disproportionate amount of highly qualified students who often apply many to many Ivy Leagues. URochester has to admit quite a few of its applicants because it has a relatively low enrollment rate. (qualified applicants getting accepted to both Harvard and URochester and whatnot)

Sorry if that’s no help.

MConklin said it was around 30% this year. There were approx 12600 applications (up 400 from last year).

For the past 2 years, the yield has been slightly higher than expected. (More people accepted a place in the freshman class than were expected.) So between the increase in the number of apps and the higher than expected yields for the past 2 years, the lower acceptance rate this year seems to make sense.

Last I knew the number of applications was ballpark 12,687 or so… The admit rate is likely to be between 30% and 40% when all is said and done, though I do not have the exact statistic yet.

WayOutWestMom is right on.
